nEUlakes reaches the goal of including members from 15 EU Member States

The association nEUlakes – Network of European Lakes – now includes 18 partners from 15 EU Member States.

During the last two Boards of Directors, held in December 2024 and January 2025, five new institutions were officially admitted to the network:

• Serres Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Greece
• Upper Sûre Nature Park, Luxembourg
• Municipality of Zarrentin am Schaalsee, Germany
• Municipality of Viljandi, Estonia
• Municipality of Keszthely, Hungary, in which nEUlakes found space in several articles published by the local press. Click HERE to read Keszthely’s press release.

The network, together with newer and older members, has immediately started cooperation activities by sending a proposal within the CERV call for 3-year framework partnership agreements to support European networks, civil society organisations active at EU level and European think tanks in the areas of Union values.
